The huge music event Sonar International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art of Barcelona, to be held on 13, 14 and 15 of June in Barcelona, celebrates its 20th anniversary.

For its 20th anniversary, a total of 130 performances, from 13 to 15 June, it was at Sonar by Day or by night, the list of artists include Laurent Garnier, Darkstar, Liars, Paul Kalkbrenner, Nicolas Jaar, Sherwood + Pinch, Delorean, Maceo Plex, Gold Panda, La Bien Querida, Baauer, Mykki Blanco y Karenn (Blawan + Pariah), Kraftwerk, Pet Shop Boys, Two Door Cinema Club, Lindstrøm & Todd Terje o Vatican Shadow.

The big news this year is the relocation to Fira Montjuïc to deploy their day program. With headliners like Kraftwerk and the Pet Shop Boys, concerts height does not change. If during the last 19 years Sonar by Day has been located in the Raval district, between Plaça dels Angels, the MACBA, Plaça Joan Coromines and CCCB-it's time to move belongings to Plaça Espanya. The new site has ties to the city while creating synergies with facilities in the area as the MNAC, CaixaForum, the Miró Foundation, the Teatre Grec ... Adapting to the new location is to reinvent, to continue and become part of the tradition of spaces that have a unique and historic path through such events as the World Expo in 1929 and the Olympics in 1992.
