The Picasso Museum was opened to the public in 1963 as an essential museum to find out about the artist’s formative years. It is housed in five Catalan-Gothic-style palaces dating from the 13th and 14th centuries in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.
How to get there?
After walking down Via Laietana, turn left into Calle Princesa and keep walking till Picasso Museum (calle Montcada). It will take you less than 12 minutes to get there by foot.
